When I think of You, Lord

Dear Jesus,
When I think of You, Lord, I see peace – like blossoms dancing on a gentle breeze.
When I think of You, Lord, I see love – like millions of trees with their branches spread wide, shielding the world below them from harm.
When I think of You, Lord, I see joy – like a thousand birds gliding through the air with pure abandon.
When I think of You, Lord, I see gentleness – like a hundred butterflies resting on a single flower.
When I think of You, Lord, I see righteous anger – like thunder rolling over the earth as far as the eye can see.
When I think of You, Lord, I see forgiveness – which shines like the cities after a downpour, washing the dust of sin away.
When I think of You, Lord, I see the sun, early in the morning, banishing the night’s darkness, slowly and steadily rising, warming the earth and giving life.
Thank You precious Jesus, I adore You.

What a gift it is to be part of a Community where people feel free to bring their prayers, reflections, creativity, and love for Jesus—just as they are.
