Helping Women Delight in God’s Word |
👋 Hey friend,
Fall weather always makes me feel ready for a reset. 🍁 Maybe it's the way the world changes so dramatically (at least in the Midwest!), or maybe my body just remembers that back-to-school rush.
Whatever the reason, I'm feeling compelled to start from a blank page—and maybe you are too. Here are a few simple things I’m doing to rejuvenate my life this fall:
- Cleaning out my closet 👖
It may seem simple, but I started to notice how much emotion was tied to my stuff—and it wasn’t good. Then I remembered Jesus' words in Matthew 6:21: "Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." So I asked God to help me go through my closet. Letting go of things that no longer fit (literally or figuratively!) felt like lifting a weight off my chest.
- Choosing contentment 💗
I'm the kind of person who needs a "little treat" to get through just about anything. But this fall, I’m trying to 'treat myself' by enjoying what I already have. God has already provided so much—I just want to be more intentional about enjoying His gifts.
- Recommitting to my quiet time 📖
Time with God checks my heart like nothing else can. And I'm committed to give Him time to work in my life...whether that's a deep dive into a book of the Bible I haven't studied in a while, or a simple daily devotional.
I shared more about this reset (and what I’m doing to make 25 my healthiest year yet!) in our latest YouTube video. 🎥 Keep scrolling for the link! Whether you're ready for a reset or just need a little encouragement, I hope it blesses you. All my love,
