You know what I've been thinking about this week? 🤔
This time of year is literally designed to help us slow down.🍂
Think about it: the sun sets early and rises late, the plants and trees are settling into winter rest, and even our holidays focus on gratitude and generosity. So why aren't we slowing down?
As we wrap this week up, here are some reminders to take with you. 💗
It’s okay to prioritize what matters most. 💛 Use discernment, of course. But if you haven’t had space for what's most important to you…it’s okay to say no!
You don’t have to be perfect for people to feel loved. 🫂 I don’t know who needs to hear this, but an elaborate meal, spotless home, or expensive gifts aren’t what make the holidays special! Loving presence is.
Every year is a gift from God—don’t forget to worship Him for what He’s done in this one. 🙏 Don’t let the next few weeks pass by without pausing to thank God for whoHe is and howHe’s shown up. I bet that list will surprise you!
And if you feel like you could use a little help with all of this, do what I do: use the Harvesting Gratitude Thanksgiving devotional my mom and sister created to help with holiday overwhelm.
The devotionals, grocery lists, and meal-planning guide help me keep my mind organized and my heart centered on God—and I know it will do the same for you! 🦃
P.S. The Harvesting Gratitude guide is on sale right now for less than what you’d spend on a bag of coffee (and I promise it will nourish you for far longer!) 😉 And if you haven’t heard, we just launched a new Bible study notebook and yearly planner—check them out!
The Bible Nerd herself, Faith Womack, joins Ellen to invite us to rethink how we read the Bible...because when we stop hunting for quick personal answers and start looking for who God is, everything changes.
The Bible can feel overwhelming, but studying it is easier and more exciting than you think.

Our Father in heaven, may your name be honored, may your kingdom come, may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we ourselves have forgiven our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
We did NOT talk about being consistent in Bible study last week (we did talk about Jonah 🐳). How embarrassing.
But the good news is, that conversation (led by our good friend Rachel Schlesinger) is coming up next month!
So if you've been looking for a way to get serious about spending time in the Word and want a group of committed, encouraging women to do it with, now is the time to join us 🥳
Come meet the Coffee and Bible Time Community tonight at 6pm CT! We've saved a spot just for you 💗
