Helping Women Delight in God’s Word |
👋 Hey Reader,
Have you been feeling discouraged about your time in the Bible (or lack thereof)? 😬
Hold my hand while I tell you this...
ALL OF US HAVE BEEN THERE. Not just you, not just me—but every woman who follows Jesus has times when she struggles. So don’t give up!
Here are a few gentle ways I step back into the Word when I’m in a slump:
1. Pair my quiet time with something I look forward to 🥰
Cozy sweatpants, my favorite drink...and when things are really dire? I’ll go to my favorite coffee shop. It gives me something to look forward to, even when motivation is low!
2. Switch up how I read 📖
I like to try a different translation (like the NLT or The Message), or listen to an audio Bible. Other times, I’ll start with a devotional—just to ease myself in.
3. Simplify my plan 🌿
When I’m overwhelmed, I don’t need a better plan—I need a simpler one.
That’s when I come back to the EASY Bible Study Method.
I follow four simple steps that guide me to:
💭 understand what I’m reading,
🤲 hear what God is saying,
🤗 and actually apply it to my real life...
And on low-energy days, it helps me show up anyway. 🩷
If you want a simple way to do this too, you can check out The EASY Bible Study Method here.
