☕️ If you miss feeling close to God

Helping Women Delight in God’s Word

👋 Hey Reader,

I want to ask you a question that I don’t think people ask too often.

How is your relationship with God?

No judgment, no shame—let’s be real, I can’t even see you right now! 🤣

But really, how are you and God doing these days?

My guess is you answered that question in one of a couple of ways:

❤️‍🔥 Good: you feel connected to God, talk with Him frequently and often hear from Him in His Word.

💛 Okay: it’s been a minute since you really sat down to pray or study the Bible, but you still connect with Him consistently.

💙 Not so hot: it’s been a while since you prayed or opened your Bible. And you’re feeling pretty lousy about that.

I want to take a second and talk to the person who’s struggling with their relationship with God.

❤️‍🩹 No one is mad at you for not reading your Bible.
❤️‍🩹 God still loves you.
❤️‍🩹 You have time to turn to Him today.

If you haven’t connected with God for a while and you miss Him, I want you to stop for a minute, wherever you are, and read this slowly:

Your hands made me and formed me;
give me understanding to learn your commands.
Psalm 119:73

Now take a deep breath, and pray it back to God.

👉 Thank Him for making you.
👉 Tell Him about something special that you made, and imagine how He might feel about you.
👉 Ask Him for wisdom and insight into His Word.

You just connected with God.

Friend, we all go through times where we fall off the wagon, so to speak. 🚜

But what sets a strong Christian apart is getting back up and trying again. 🫶

If you haven’t yet, go back and pray through the verse above. You’ll be glad you did!

Praying for you always,

Ashley, Taylor and Mentor Mama (Ellen)
