Helping Women Delight in God’s Word |
👋 Hey Reader,
Have you ever struggled to believe that Jesus really loves you—just the way you are right now?
Not just putting up with you because He’s nice…
but that He truly loves you as you are, in this very moment?
I have.
But there’s a story about Jesus that completely changed how I see His love. 🥺
A little context: in Jesus’ time, streets were filthy. 😷
Sewage, animal waste, and trash covered the roads—and everyone wore sandals. 💩🩴
So when someone entered a home, a servant would wash their feet.
It was one of the lowest, most humbling jobs.
Now imagine this:
The night before His death, while having dinner with His disciples, Jesus got up, grabbed a towel, and prepared to wash all the dirt and grime off their feet! (John 13:3-5)
He wasn’t holding His nose.
He didn't ask them to clean themselves up.
He didn’t do it out of obligation.
Jesus served them because He loved them.
Friend, Jesus is not put off by your bad habits, your struggles, or the things you’re ashamed of. ❤️🩹
If you have any ‘dirt’ that is keeping you away from God, know this:
Jesus isn’t afraid of your sin. He wants to hold you close and make you clean.
As we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection this Sunday, let’s take joy in the fact that He is not afraid of our sin; He has already conquered it.
Happy Easter,

P.S. If you want to start following Jesus and are wondering where to start:
Romans 10:9 says that “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
