☕ If the fear is too much today

Helping Women Delight in God’s Word

👋 Hey Reader,

If your inbox (or your heart) feels especially anxious this morning, take a deep breath with me. In...and out. 😮‍💨

God is in control.

Psalm 46:1-3 reminds us,

God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth give way,
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,

Even when life feels like it’s falling apart, He’s steady. He’s near.

When anxious thoughts start to spiral, here are three simple ways to fight back:

🙏 Pray out loud
Speaking our prayers—especially when they include praise and thanksgiving—turns God’s truth UP until fear has to quiet down.

📖 Meditate on God's Word...not your worries
Write a verse on a sticky note and place it where you’ll see it often. Every time fear creeps back in, say that verse out loud.

🎵 Sing a worship song
Blast your favorite worship song in the car (or your kitchen) and sing like you mean it. Dancing optional… but highly encouraged. 💃

Sometimes our plans fall apart...but God never does.

He is still our refuge. He is still in control. And that is something we can count on.

If you need a little extra help fighting fear, our 30-Day Scripture Journal for Anxiety was made for days just like this.

Each page walks you through a verse, guided prayer, and reflection to help you find peace again.

We made it for when we feel anxious...and we know it will help you, too. 🫶

Sending you love and calm today,

though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling.

🎙 How to Give God Your Whole Heart

"Sometimes we think that being wholeheartedly devoted to God is something that happens on a stage...but faithfulness is day by day."

This week we dive into Romans 12:1-2...and what it really means to offer our lives as "living sacrifices".

Because faithfulness to God doesn’t require big platforms or major accomplishments—it can happen right in the middle of your ordinary life.
