We've hit that point in the holiday season where I’m starting to pull my hair out (just a little bit). 🫠 I’ve been fighting the urge to text everyone whose name appears on my calendar and tell them that I’m canceling our plans!
But here’s what the Lord has been encouraging me with recently (and what I decided to pass along to you today). 🌿
Do not grow weary in doing good (Gal. 6:9). 🌟 Of course it’s important to know your limits, but sometimes loving others means setting aside some of our own comfort; whether that means working on that handmade gift instead of scrolling, braving the cold to go to a friend’s birthday dinner, or just taking out the trash for your family.❄️
Give God your firstfruits (Gen. 3:4-7). 🍇 Everything we have comes from our Heavenly Father—are we trusting Him with it? For me, ‘firstfruits’ has looked like giving God the first few minutes of my day. For others, it might be tithing or sharing a meal with someone He put on their heart. 🤝
Rejoice in the Lord always (Phil. 4:4). 💖 It has never been easier to be bogged down with anxiety or frustration (and sometimes those emotions are unavoidable). But, as far as is within your power, do your best to cling to joy. Think of three things that made you smile after a hard day, or go out of your way to compliment a stranger; most importantly, ask Jesus to give you the joy of the Lord, even when things aren’t going well. 🌼
Friend, I know that life isn’t always easy—whether you’re just having a hard week or going through a storm. 🤍 And Jesus never said He would make our lives easy…but He did say He would be with us.
I’m praying you see Him with you when you look around today. 🙏✨🕊️
P.S. Thank you all so, so much for the support you showed to lil ol’ us this past Black Friday weekend–your support means the world to us! 🤎🥹 We still have some of our favorite products in stock and some sales going on if you want to check them out.

Here's what one Coffee and Bible Time listener shared:

I love that with every headline, there are corresponding verses and prompts to turn to God for His help and wisdom. I don't feel scared to keep up with the news anymore."
