☕ How to Make Quiet Time Actually Happen

Helping Women Delight in God’s Word

👋 Hey friend,

If you're anything like me, you're longing for more meaningful time with God but STRUGGLE to know where to start—and how to keep going. 🥵

When building a quiet time routine feels overwhelming, scrolling on my phone or just sleeping a little longer seems way easier.

But things have started to shift for me recently—and here's what helped: you. 🫵💖😂

We sent out a form asking what quiet time looks like in your real, everyday life—and your responses seriously blew me away. 💛

Here are some of the most encouraging themes that came up again and again from your responses:

  • Start small & keep it simple. J.H.B. shared, "It doesn’t have to be long. Do it every day, even if it is 5 minutes and keep expanding the time you read. It will become a habit after a few weeks and it makes it easier!” 🧗‍♀️
  • Find a rhythm that fits YOUR life - Not all of us have been called to get up with the roosters! 🤣 Evenings, lunch breaks, that small window between school bus pickup and leaving for work...there’s no "right" way, just your way.
  • Grace, always grace - Katie said, “Give yourself grace. Distractions will happen and when they do, just continue. Even in the middle of a prayer, God loves You, He understands.” 🫶

All of these beautiful insights (and more!) are in our new blog post!

We even put together a free printable you can download here—perfect for when you feel stuck or uninspired.

Thank you for sharing your heart. You’ve helped so many others (including me!) feel less alone in this journey. 💗

May your quiet time become a place of peace, presence, and renewal. 🕊️

With love and gratitude,

Ashley, Taylor and Mentor Mama (Ellen)
