☕ God’s Word Is for You—Even When It’s Hard

Helping Women Delight in God’s Word

👋 Hey friend,

How long have you been reading the Bible?

Some of us have been in the Word since preschool (shoutout to The Beginner’s Bible! 🙋‍♀️), and some of us are just starting out. 🌱 No matter how long you've been reading Scripture, connecting with God through His Word comes with its own set of challenges.

Maybe it's hard to make sense of the cultural context (Paul does talk a lot about circumcision 😷).

Maybe consistency feels impossible. 😶‍🌫️

Or maybe, truthfully, time in the Word has just been… dry. 🌵

If that’s you, I want to gently remind you: God still meets us in His Word. Even when we feel confused, distracted, or disinterested—He’s there. 🤲

A little farther down in this email, you’ll find a longer Scripture passage than usual. Here’s your challenge:

Set a timer for 5 minutes, pause, and reflect.
No agenda. Just show up and listen.

Then ask yourself: How do I feel? What stood out?

I’m praying the Holy Spirit uses it to encourage, convict, and gently draw you closer to Him this week.

And if you're looking for some more help for getting into Scripture, keep reading. We've got just what you're looking for 🫶

In Him,

P.S. What’s been hardest for you when it comes to studying the Bible? And on the flip side—have you found anything that helps? Let us know—we'd love to learn from you, too 💖

But you must remain faithful to the things you have been taught. You know they are true, for you know you can trust those who taught you.

You have been taught the holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus.
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
- 2 Timothy 3:14-17 (NLT)
