☕ How to pray like Jesus

Helping Women Delight in God’s Word

👋 Hey friend,

Take a moment and think about one person in your life who you can tell anything to. 💭🩷

The one you call when you’re overwhelmed. 😵‍💫
The one you text when something exciting happens. 🥳
The one who knows the real, unfiltered version of you. 🤗

Who came to mind? (for me it's my sister!).

I think if we asked Jesus that same question, He would say His Dad.

Again and again in Scripture, we see Jesus going to His Father:

  • with big decisions (Luke 6:12–13)
  • in deep anguish (Matthew 26:36–46)
  • and even with the needs of His friends (John 17)

Their relationship is close, tender, and deeply personal. 🩷 And get this...Jesus calls God our Father, too (Matthew 6:9, John 20:17).

So let me ask you this:
What would your prayer life look like if you talked to God the way you talk to your closest friend? 🫂

Think of the biggest thing on your mind today: a fear, a need, a frustration, or even something you’re excited about. 🤔

Now take two minutes and tell God about it.

That’s praying like Jesus! 🙏

If you want help going deeper, we just shared a new blog post on 5 steps to pray like Jesus, along with a free prayer and Scripture guide to walk you through it.
