☕ Abide in His love this week

Helping Women Delight in God’s Word

👋 Hey friend,

If you had to describe yourself in one word, which one would you choose? 🤔

What came to mind? If you have a post-it note or scrap of paper handy, jot that word down 📄✍️

I think the first word that we use to describe ourselves reveals a LOT about who we are and what we value. It also shows who we are listening to...whether that be a family member, a friend, or our Instagram algorithm!

Recently I've realized that I've been listening to a lot of voices that might not line up with the Word of God. 📖 So I turned to Jesus' words to His disciples in John 15...and do you know what He said?

He said that we are loved. ❤️

He didn’t say that His disciples were perfect just the way they were (🤣),—but He did say that they were chosen and appointed. He told them, “As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; abide in my love.”🌿

Friend, when you think of yourself—with all your character traits and beauties and flaws—know that you are deeply loved by Jesus 🤍 And it's from abiding in His love that we have the desire and ability to obey His commands.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, unsure, or weighed down by other voices, Ashley’s in-depth study on John 15 will gently lead you back to the truth of Jesus’ love. Visit our website to watch the free teaching on YouTube—or, if you’d like to go deeper, download the printable study as well 🤍
